Migraines usually last for hours and in some sever ones, migraines usually last
for days. To start the cure for migraine, it is best to find out the cause first. And people suffering
from it don’t need to endure the pain because there is a cure for migraines.
For people suffering from migraine, it is best to consult doctors about this pain, and to
tell him exactly what you feel. This way, he would be able to rule out any underlying disease and so that he
could make out a proper diagnosis. Try to find out what you feel when under this attack. Do you feel nauseous?
Do you vomit often? Do you feel that you can’t look at bright and searing lights?
It is also best to ask your doctor what kind of medication is right for you. These
medications also help in relieving you of the pain.
One other thing that you can do is to lie down comfortably on your bed without turning
on the lights, without noises blaring in your ears, and lie in a room where there is no scent at all.
Apply a cold compress to your temple, to your eye sockets and to your eyes. Try to massage the artery that
is lying along your temple with your fingers.
As much as possible, avoid foods that may intensify your migraine. Examples of these foods
are those that have MSG, shellfish, nuts, cheese, preserved meats, artificial sweeteners, red wine and certain fruits.
There are also foods that you eat for the first time, and then suffer migraine the next – try to avoid this type of food.
